Support for Schools and their Staff
At The SEND Learning Hub we completely understand how difficult it can be supporting classes of about 30 children, whilst having some children with SEND in there too, who need extra help and support in the classroom.
Sometimes when a child becomes dysregulated in class, it can be difficult to know why, or what happened. We can help you become detectives in your setting and give you hints and tips on what to look out for, and what type of things can dysregulate a child who has SEND.
Workshops can be delivered as a 60 minute staff meeting, or a half day CPD session during INSET days. They can be carried out in small groups (eg supporting TAs), or as a whole school.
They are practical workshops, which will allow you to step into the shoes of your pupils with SEND, and dig a bit deeper into why, and how, they become dysregulated. We’ll give you some strategies to support them.
